“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow”

Our students have the unique opportunity to plant a garden each year, work in it, learn in it, and enjoy a bounteous harvest! They learn about seeds, parts of the plant, pollinators, and the joy of seeing the results of hard work.

One 6th grade class grew tomatoes and basil - when those plants were ripe they make bruschetta as a class.

Our other 6th grade class learned how to make rope from corn husks! How cool is that!?

Some of our classes even use bits of the garden to make artwork!
